Anti wrinkle cosmetics available for treatment

Update: July 20th, 2009

While you can delay wrinkles and can treat these with cosmetic or other procedures, you can also conceal wrinkles once they have began to form, through the proper use of cosmetics.

Give your face a glow by applying moisturizer before you apply foundation. If your skin is discolored or pale, use a tinted moisturizer which can even be used in place of a foundation. Moisturizers can contain a number of ingredients including collagen, AHA and sunscreens.

Use a foundation with a matte or semi-matte finish. Pat facial powder on the foundation to minimize the appearance of wrinkles. To conceal blemishes, use neutralizers. Green neutralizers can cover red blemishes. To conceal yellow blemishes, use a purple neutralizer. People with dark blemishes must use a pearl base.

Use blushes to conceal dilated capillaries on the cheeks and nose. Powder blushes blend more easily with foundation than cream blushes do.

Use powder eye shadows to define your eyes. Deep set eyes can be brought out with the help of a light colored powder eye shadow on the upper eye lid crease. Use under eyed gels to treat dark circles and puffiness. The skin under the eyes is fragile, delicate and is at the highest risk of wrinkles. Use an under eye cream as early as possible, because this is the area where the wrinkles first begin to show.

Before applying lipstick, apply some facial foundation to the lips to prevent the lipstick from bleeding or spreading out of the lip line. Line the lips with a lip pencil. Older people must avoid darker shades which make them look older than they are. Thin lips are suited to matte lipstick shades - these people must avoid glossy shades.

A little make up in the right spots can decrease the prominence of wrinkles, and make you look younger than your years!
